5. Agreed. That's where they seem the most irrational and out-of-touch.
Sure, in SOME ways, as they like to say, we have "the best health-care system in the world" -- but the Repubs, parroting that line, can't even admit or even see that there IS a health care CRISIS, right now in this country!

It's a real failure of imagination too. Our health system today is hardly Adam Smith capitalism. If they werent' all so Fred-Thompson-lazy, they could at least try to work up a "free market" description of the crisis.
