2. Edwards/Obama 08?
You think Edwards wants the backseat again?

Will he take it if it's offered?

5. yes I do
His campaign is not about him, its about his causes. If he feels Obama is on board with him, he will sign on.

15. Apparently IT is about him and not us. What makes him the anointed one, especially since his
platform was co-opted from Edwards'? He can take the second seat and probably would if the corporate owned media would allow Edwards too be heard.

3. Maybe.
Obama shines with Edwards help as he maintains a strong #2 with both of them putting Hillary in a hole.

That will produce the strongest ticket for the GE!!

11. Glad I'm not the only one getting that impression...
...I'd vote for the ticket either way.

Obama's OK - I'd MUCH prefer Edwards as Pres., but I'll take the opposite if that's what it ends up being.

12. I cannot imagine that Edwards would run as VP again. And it seems unlikely
that Obama in the winning mode would agree to be VP for Edwards.

13. An Edwards/Obama ticket? I could support that!
How would the MSM ignore that combination? I am sure they would find a way!! This would screw up their plan immensely, I like it.

25. I prefer Edwards/Obama.
But, at this point, Obama/Edwards is more likely. Obama now leads strongly in the NH money polls. In any event, Obama is more likely to win the party's nomination than Edwards. If I can't have Edwards as the nominee, I'll happily take him as the VP candidate.

Obama has enormous momentum right now. Absent a "Dean scream" media event, he wins the nomination.

imho

28. You have it backwards-- Edwards- Obama 08
Here's why:
Edwards has the tensity, experience and clarity about what needs to be done immediately- and he's a bulldog who will not stop until he has cleaned up the mess the Bushco monsters are leaving behind.
Edwards can pass as a moderate and as he's a Southerner which gives him inroads into voters that neither HRC or BO can connect to. But the truth is he is actually a true progressive at heart.
After 8 years of an Edwards presidency, things will be back on track again- period.

After 8 years, any concerns or questions about Obama's "experience" will be null and void.
By that point, we will have evolved to a place where racism really and truly is no longer an issue (please God).
Obama can be handed the ball and use the next eight years, to ignite this country into a positive, enlightened future.

An Edwards - Obama ticket gives us a clear shot for 16 years in the White House- think of it- back to back terms of two persons who have the potential to be truly visionary leaders.
