No wonder the US manufacturing sector is in the toilet, the most capable ones are doing worthless shit like that.

He is very much a progressive Democrat, and has never done any work on
killing machines, or anything of the sort. DARPA also works on theoretical
situations, and computer projections of solutions, stuff like that, not
just death rays and lethal weapons.

He also says that often the right hand doesn't know what the left hand
is doing (after all, they ARE a government agency, how could we expect
anything different?). Their program managers often change, and sometimes
right in the middle of a project. Talk about disruptive change! Details
are, of course, classified, and none will be forthcoming from me, but
far from all (if any) of DARPA is involved in the opening scene of "Real
Genius." They are chaotic enough without imitating Hollywood.
