17. I guess I was afraid that his trend line shot up so
quickly right after Iowa that it would have to settle back a little bit.

I hope I'm wrong.

8. Slight mistake on your results....
"Ready from day 1" (aka the angry one) is at 28%, not 26%. You Ready from day 1 hater---you!

11. It surprised me
that John didn't aim his cannon at Obama last night instead of Hillary. But he's a cagey one and he must have felt he needs to dismantle Hillary first because she was the front runner in NH.

It puzzled me because she was already damaged badly in Iowa.

13. i think he was thinking he would have a better shot at eliminating Hillary than obama....
If hillary is gone, he may have a shot against obama one=on=one.

15. The article says
the poll was taken Friday - Sunday so not sure how much was taken after the debate, but I'm pretty shocked after the John Edwards performance in the debate that his numbers aren't better.....

16. The way I see it, 'Ready On Day One' wasn't ready
With an alternative or back-up plan if not the front-runner. Either that shows hubris, bad political advice, poor contingency planning, or just plain wishful thinking.

Or all of the above.

Sometimes it's a good idea not to read the polls, and always campaign like you're behind.
