60 Minutes tonight -

Interview with the Killer of Karachi - Had him on the ropes, IMHO.

on edit: I really think she's what we need in journalism today.

1. I like her a lot
I don't watch CBS much, but what I've seen, I've liked.

3. She didn't ask key questions...
She could have asked two key questions....why we let the Taliban & Al Qaeda escape at Tora Bora, along with massive airlifts out of Afghanistan via Pakistan Air Force, with our blessing. And why Musharraf & Bush allowed the head of Pakistan's ISI, General Mahmoud Ahmed, to quietly resign after it was discovered he had wired a $100 grand to Atta just weeks before 911. The ISI is a nest of religious fundamentalists largely responsible for producing radical extremists. They are very powerful and very dangerous and yet this administration continues to send them billions.

4. Those are great questions. Ones I would like to have asked of him, too.
But, considering the interview centered on the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, they may not have been in context.

Perhaps, she will be able to ask these very cogent questions in a follow-up interview in the future. I look forward to seeing more reporting from Ms. Logan.
