1. have been watching live coverage out of Springfield on kspr for the last
couple hours - confirmed touchdown in the city about 40 min. ago, another touchdown just confirmed on the ground in the city - and many touchdowns to the southwest and mortheast of town - it's a very very bad night up there (I'm 2 hrs south)

3. Ouch!
We lead the Dances of Universal Peace at the Unity Spiritual Center just off the West Expressway, and have friends in town. I sure hope they are all right! Nickyt, I'm in AR, about an hour and a half south of there. So far on the east side of the mountain where I live all is calm. Is it ok where you are?

4. yes, thanks - so far it's all tracking north before it comes here -
have lived here 11 years, and so far, these hills have not been able to "sustain" tornadoes...Berryville, Green Forest, they've been hit in the past...at this moment, though, there is a nasty cell headed into Bentonville-
this is a record-breaking night for Ozark touchdowns, just hope they're all F-1s -

5. I was in Springfield today with my lady friend. We did a bit of a
short shopping spree after her visit to the Cox Outpatient Center and left before 5 p.m. I recall seeing the lightning in the west and wondering if it might be bearing down on Springfield. We drove south to our homes in the NW Arkansas woods and saw only intermittent sprinkles. Lucky call, deciding to leave so early in the day.
