Watch the video if you don't believe me.

Whether or not it was genuine is something only Ms. Clinton knows.

3. Isn't it something...no matter what kind of emotion she shows
the vile Hillary haters have to bash her. I just wish that some of the ones who are constantly bashing her would have to go thru the hate the vile the lies and the bash bash bash for just one month. They would all end up in the mental ward. This woman has strong character and class.

we had the same thought, but my puppy distracted me mid-sentence (the one in my avatar).

Ergo, you got there first.

11. one month?
I doubt these DSL Dilettantes who get their rocks off cyber-dog-piling on Hillary could handle ONE 7-day week of half of what she goes through and has gone through for the last 15 years! They have a hard time handling disagreement let alone the hate usually directed at Hillary.

I suspect they'd be callin' out "Uncle!" after just one day.

And, btw, I agree with you.

I'm a lucky guy.

4. Not according to DU.
Some DUers will tell you that they know exactly what she was feeling, exactly what she was doing, and how exactly the entire process was stage-managed in Room 806 of a hotel in Manchester, NH, at 9:06pm two nights ago.

10. I saw that.
My response in one of those threads was that DUers would probably criticize her for not ironing the shirts.

14. two nights ago?
I thought it was last night in a conference call with Bush and Cheney while she was trying on her new Crown and Scepter while watching the peasants beg for bread!

15. Ok, that one was funnier than mine.
I made it "two days ago", because then the posters can claim that she's been planning it "forever".

19. well, in this Primary Race
one day feels like an eternity, so two days would seem like, well, forever!

So, let's split the difference and say she's been planning it -- crown and scepter fully in place, flattering candle light falling on her haggard features, her props ... sorry, her daughter Chelsea and her Mother nearby waiting to be called when needed -- forever.

And, no, I'm not stalking you.

20. Hehe.
Ya know, at some point, you just gotta laugh at this place. I've been here for a lot of years, and I think the past two days or so are the most bizarre I've ever seen. Some of the stuff people come up with to justify their remarks are instant classics.

23. and this is all a blip in time
the whole playing field politically can change in a flash. Momentum stopped. A stumble that changes people's minds. A heartfelt show of emotion that gives a glimpse into how much someone truly cares about what's at stake despite the widely accepted caricature. Even taking a strong second by 3 percentage points can be enough to change the storyline in the Press and, therefore, change the dynamic of the race. Or not winning by as big a margin as the Polls indicate. It can all change in a flash.

And all those premature Victory Laps and subtle neener-neener-neeners are suddenly shown to be as stupid and shortsighted as the rational people on DU have always recognized them to be.

Nothing is guaranteed in politics and the same Press that's loving you today can easily -- easily and without a second thought or remorse -- kill your political progress overnight. Those supporters who believe it'll never happen to their candidate are, at best, fools and, at worst, uneducated mindless sheeple with glassy eyes, their hands fixed firmly around their chilled glasses of Kool-Aid.

Off to bed. Have a great night. :hi:

24. Stranger things have happened.
I read an article at Salon.com today that put together a pretty solid case for the race being really tight at Super Tuesday time, particularly if Hillary maintains her leads in Florida, California, etc. That's the big question at the moment, of course. Obama has significant momentum.

It'll be interesting, whatever happens. I may just have to take a break from DU for a while and pay a little more attention to what's *really* happening out there.

Off to bed myself. Take care.

6. If she had cried like I cry about the state our country is in
you would recognize it right off. Although I feel powerless much of the time I don't stop trying to bring about the needed chang. Here is a woman with so much power and she whimpers about her hard life. Go figure. Peace, Kim

18. Actually I did listen and I wouldn't call it crying,
that was my point. She has much to cry about though and I hope she does in her quiet times. Crying is not a sign of weakness but might help her sort out what the right thing to do would be.

And she is impressive in her speaking. What a good public speaker she is. Compared to Chimpy she is positively Patrick Henry or better! Sheesh! Who is criticizing her for that? Only morans could do so!

21. I think it was genuine emotion. If it wasn't, Hillary could come to
Hollywood and be the next great actress. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt, and I see nothing wrong in showing a little emotion; as a matter of fact I really liked it.

28. Nope. KO and all the pundits say she was CRYING!!
Who you gonna believe -- Hillary? Your own eyes? Or the Mainstream Media?

Right -- the media.

After all, they have our best interests at heart.

That's why they are all beating the drum for Barrack.

Ignoring Edwards and Kucinich.

And lying about Hillary.
