My Big Fat Dumb Thread: Who are the all-time "toothiest" American politicians?
Edited on Tue Jan-08-08 03:18 PM by brentspeak
Teddy Roosevelt?

Jimmy Carter?

JFK/RFK/Teddy Kennedy?

George Washington? (nah...he had wooden teeth)

Who are the American politicians with a set of teeth that would have made even the Bee Gees jealous?

:silly: :silly:

2. For the record, Washington didn't have wooden teeth ;)
That's a myth.

I gotta say Carter's teeth rank up there ... and btw, a dumb thread is nice to see today.

7. And after all this time...!
George never had wooden teeth? Did someone try to swiftboat him on that issue, back in the day?

8. No, I figure he was courting the anti-dentistry vote
Actually, his teeth were probably made out of carved bone or something similar. False teeth
were cumbersome and uncomfortable back then, but they weren't wooden.

I'm amazed I have crap like this stuck in my head.

15. That is one theory
It's not likely though since tusk material was hard to come by. Then again,
we're talking George Washington here, so who knows?
