(Miller County, Arkansas) Two boy scout counselors, 17 year old Clayton Frady and 18 year old David litickabee , the son of Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, have admitted to catching a stray dog during their summer session at Camp Pioneer in Hatfield, AR, and hanging the dog by his neck, slitting his throat and stoning him to death.

My grandma is from Arkansas and the breakfast always struck me as pretty greazy.

btw, the house is the Gov's mansion in LR. Beautiful home, especially now that a Democratic govenor is back in it B-)

still worked on farms. Now, we all commute to work in cars, sit at desks and still expect to eat sausage links, hash browns, grits, bacon, eggs, buttermilk buscuits and flour/milk/sausage gravy.

Fortunately, I'm allergic to pork, so I eat one egg, turkey bacon and bagels. :)

Mike does not appear to have a very attractive gene pool judging from his offspring. Good grief, the spaniel is the most attractive one of the bunch. Can't you just imagine them in the White House? It would be like the Clapmetts in Beveryly Hills redux!

Sounds like a beautiful family. :puke: ANYONE who kills an animal like that deserves prison time. and a young person doing that needs severe intervention lest they become the inevitable serial killer.

If a child is raised in a truly loving home they would NEVER kill anything, unless they suffered from mental illness of some sort.

My 14-year-old became physically ill when he learned (from TV) about what Micheal Vick had done.
He was horrified to think that anyone would do that to a dog.

Was Hezekiah Hulkabee's son using overkill to cast stubborn demons out of the dog? I'd venture to say the apple falls not far from the tree in this case. And then there's the little matter of Hezekiah's attempted influence peddling and the firing of his top cop who wouldn't play along...

And the girls wear red pullovers with zippers. The young girl wears a white t-shirt underneath, for some damned reason. Bluejeans for everyone but the puppy.

Do you think the photographer said, "I'll be there on Friday at 9 am. Be sure to wear something that will scream, 'Arkansas Bumpkins!'"

On Wednesday, Mrs. Huckabee ran up the wooden porch steps to hang the state seal to the left of the front door. Then she cut a foot-high, red plastic ribbon with hedge clippers, took off her shoes so as to not dirty the new carpet, and led curious onlookers on tours.

There are no words to describe the excitement I feel, Mrs. Huckabee said.

Champion Enterprises Chairman Walt Young handed Mrs. Huckabee the keys to what he called the first manufactured mansion. He said his company designed the home for a quality lifestyle.

The home has its own concrete sidewalk in which is carved a message of thanks to the homes makers from the first family. In a nearby flower garden sits a fake pink flamingo.

The front door opens to a wooden-floor entry area, with vases and mirrors moved from the mansion. To one side is an office, to another a bedroom, and on the third side is a formal living and dining area  the mansions golden dinnerware set in place on the table.

The murder of a stray dog by his boys has left me speechless.The implications of that...just.wow.
