So, I'm Watching This...

program that my wife turned on called "Party Mamas." Have you seen this little gem.

The premise of the program deals with extremely wealthy moms who throw birthday parties for their young ones where the idea is that money is NO LIMIT. I'm not sure why, but this program is unbelievably disgusting. Parents spend upwards of $40K for a 9 year olds birthday party. Each mom appears to be spoiled beyond belief.

I try to imagine being in a third world country and seeing a program like this. What is wrong with our country? Where are our priorities?

On one show, a spoiled 16 year old is thrown a lavish birthday party that goes into the 10's of thousands of dollars. She receives a brand new car for her birthday, but is extremely disappointed because it is not a BMW. Un-fucking-believable.

I assume that these are the 1% of our population that controls 90% of our wealth.
