Bush totally irrelevant on this "historic" trip...
As the media and the American people focus on Obama and Hillary, President Bush is traipsing around the Middle East looking for his legacy. This morning he called a press conference just to let people know he was still alive. If he had no idea what a "lame duck" was before - now he should have a better idea. he is totally irrelevant. As far as America is concerned, he could stay in the Middle East.

14. thanks.
that image was frightening, by the way. As it always is.

Does bush have a natural talent for picking the wrong people for the job, or does he do it on purpose, because in chaos there is profit?

3. Cheney would probably prefer it that way too....
this will be the lamest of lame duck presidencies in the history of this country. I can't wait to see what happens when a repub nominee is chosen and they continually have to defend this buffoon.

7. LOL, how are they going to keep Bush away from the convention?
You just know narcissistic boy is going to demand to give his "ain't I bin grand" speech, which will make Marilyn Quayle's "not all of us were drug taking, sex having hippies (like Clinton/Gore)" speech, at the '92 R convention, look like a sparkling, delightful treatise, by comparison.

5. I forgot that this trip is Historic. I do remeber when he first
took over the White House there was urging from the adults for this trip to occur ASAP. He could not of been bothered. He wanted them to deal with their issues on their own. He would be busy creating Al Quida.

9. Oh you couldn't be more wrong!
Chimpy McCokespoon, after alternately ignoring and inflaming this area for the first seven years of his presidency, has stated that he will conclude some kind of agreement now in the last 12 months left to him in office. Yes, that's right; where consummate deal-maker Lyndon Johnson, foreign affairs vampire Richard Nixon, negotiator Jimmy Carter, steaming pile of irrelevancy Ronald Reagan, his own daddy, and Rhodes Scholar Bill Clinton failed, President Chucklebutt will show them all how it's done in just 12 months.

Watch and be awed by the overwhelming overwhelmingness of Bush's diplomasy.

10. The Rapture Artists
(Making Much Ado About Nothing for 140 Years) over on the AOL Boards are prophesying End Times like crazy over this, though most seem to agree that GWB isn't the Anti-Christ 'cause he's just not smart enough. Finally, something I can agree with!

11. Unfortunately, even though he can't accomplish anything useful,

he still has a great ability to do damage. In the midst of this campaign, it would be in our best interests to be sure and keep a watchful eye on this lame duck, or he'll do us even more harm than he already has.

13. As the Iranian boats and the bombings in Bagdad today...
indicate, he can do great damage in a matter of minutes. Don't ignore him...he may get angry and do something foolish. He is not a sane person.
