Great, prepare for more pseudohistory. Conservatives are going crazy over Goldberg's new book

I don't want to go into details, but apparently Jonah Goldberg has written a book proclaiming Liberalism is descendant ideology of Fascism.

Yep, we have yet to say that criticizing the President is an act of treason, and we haven't called for the "godly fumigation" of non-Liberals yet, and we don't go around accusing Conservatives of stabbing our country in the back over Iraq, but still, according to Goldberg, WE'RE the fascists.

History is a bit blurred back then, things were different. But, there is definitely a reason why Goldberg seems to cite Mussolini and Hitler primarily as evidence for "Liberal Fascism", there have been OTHER fascist regimes throughout history.

The Apartheid Regime in South Africa definitely had fascist elements to it
Francisco Franco's regime survived into the 70's
Augusto Pinochet's dictatorship can be considered fascist

So, did Conservatives support fascism when they supported South Africa, were they fascist supporters when they supported Pinochet's regime?

if the nazipoohs keep pushing it, the day comes americans wake up and realize socialism is good, better then greed. From there, it's but a step to look at communism not as a mental disease, but as an economic system devoted to common good. Before you know it, America's righteous anger at generations of lies and being defrauded by mr pig, will create understanding, and then regrets/sorrow at causing the death of the old USSR. Such opportunities (imagine, a Union of Soviet, or Workers, Socialist Republics!) probably could never happen again; history so obviously favours power and greed and dishonesty etc, but...why not vote in another attempt at making the public the only 'decider' of all important questions affecting the people, democratically of course? It's the LEAST the American people can do (set up a United Soviet States America ie a 'USSA')
