He's almost not even mentioned in the news now. I am worried, given Florida's past, that he is up to something. It's almost as if they aren't even trying to win at this point. If he does win the GOP nomination, I would tend to agree with others here that the system is rigged (election-wise). They seem to confident that their strategy is going to work. It just smells to high heaven.

1. Well so far
he hasn't had to worry about a runaway. They ARE falling all over themselves. He joins the stooge tumble a little later is all. Better for his suit and he gets a robust tan that just might be the thing to beat the leprous pasty rivals.

2. He is broke
The snake handlers aren't going to send a serial womanizer their money.

At least not knowingly.

3. Not much to it really
Rudy's people knew they had no chance of winning Iowa, as it has a history of picking the most conservative of Republicans. His campaign decided there was no point throwing money away in a state he couldn't win. An ex-girlfiend of mine has a friend who works for Rudy and he's been advised all along to concentrate on the "major" states. They are concerned he has no chance of winning the republican primary in any of the traditionally conservative states.

4. So far nothing has been "up" for Rudy.
I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. His shag fund scandal pretty much killed his candidacy. He'll be lucky to beat Ron Paul in the end.

5. They're desperate
The plan to skip all the early primaries to concentrate on Florida (thinking that a big win there would set him up for Feb5) isnt panning out.

He's outspent eveyone in Florida, only to watch his huge early lead in polls slide to the point he now sits in 4th place.

Giuliani is way behind the current leader, Huckabee.

9. His plan might actually work since there's no clear frontrunner.
The presidential race on both sides has turned out to be very interesting.

My state's primary might not be a waste of time after all. It's in early March.

11. Every evening here, we get bombarded with Rudy commercials
they're quite comical - 100% fear. Ron Paul signs and stickers are everywhere, I'm thinking he might give Rudy a run for his money.

12. Luckily he'll be in Florida when he figures out it's time to go on vacation
and stop trying to kid himself into thinking he might be the nominee.
