I am getting tired of the "guys" - Maher and everyone on MSNBC
except Olbermann trashing Clinton.

She was not my first choice but I started appreciating her after hearing her in the debates.

The reason why she did well in New Hampshire is because of the ABC debate. What many on DU saw as her "R.I.P Moment," for many of us was a clear indication of how she talks substance: giving examples, while the men were hemming and hewing.

Also, when asked about her "likability" she smiles and said "oh, that hurts my feelings," for which
Obama gruffly commented: "You're likable enough, Hillary."

But Maher took his cue from William Kristol that she "pretended" to get emotional at that meeting the next day, that all was planned. And the Newsweek guests of Olbermann: Fineman and Alter cannot hide their disdain of Clinton. From posts here Matthews is at the head of the line, however, I cannot stomach watching him.

If this is not sexist I don't know what is.

1. It was a"joke'. If the late nights can "joke' about Bills blow job, you know
that they are going to jump on Hillary's tearing up. That goes with the territory. They even mentioned Bush 'crying in Isreal, though not so much as he isn't a story anymore. It isn't "sexist' so much as political humour. They had a field day when Bush Sr. threw up on the Japanese PM!

7. But he did say if you hate Hillary it say more about you than anything else. He said there
was "nothing to hate about her" I thought that was nice of him and surprising!

2. If what they're saying is true about women voting for Hillary in NH...
that they did it because of how she's being done, these men better watch out. It'll backfire on them in a major way. Women are watching and they'll vote for her in droves because of the double standards being applied.

My Mom is a RW bush supporter in a major way. She's watched what they're doing and it's pissing her off. I don't know if it'll get her to vote for Hillary, but it is having an effect on her.

5. Regarding Maher
Maher has had many great moments and has had some very good segments and panels.

But he is at his core a comedian and he can be a lightweight when addressing issues.

Furthermore, IMHO, his choice of material is not to be trusted when he is pandering for ratings.

I'll never forget his near about-face back around the time Iraq had its first post-Saddam election.

And I'm no great fan of the Clinton agenda, I just recognize cheap and lazy shots when I see them.

Maher better get his writers back.

6. Unless they're prancing around
half naked at some Playboy mansion event, Maher has no use for women. As sexist as they come.
