Does Anyone Have AT&T U-verse Cable, Phone & Internet?
How is the service?
How do you like it so far?
Problems?

Have signed up for their High Def; Phone & Internet; moving from Comcast, thought someone here might have it and could give some info on how the service has been so far.

1. I'm so sick of ATT
My internet and phone would go out every time it rains. It took seven trips out here and two months for them to figure out squirrels were chewing up the box at the street.

They let third parties charge my account for services I've never ordered authorized be people who aren't even authorized to make changes to my phone bill, then tell me they can't block third party access to my account.

Not to mention the whole NSA wiretapping scandal.

I wish I had more choices, can't afford Comcast so I guess I'm stuck with ATT

3. Haven't had any problems
I have the basic phone and DSL. I get 2.5mbps connection speed and the phone for $50 and change/mo. I pay another $25/mo for my VOIP so that I have a second phone line with unlimited long distance-our long distance calls would cost at least $100/mo otherwise. In 6 years of DSL it went out once for 24 hours-turned out to be a major cable break, some idiot digging without checking. Some people have had problems evidently but here in Austin no one I know has had any problems.

4. Thanks for the info, this is their new U-verse fiber optic so it should
be great for HD & you can add so much with fiber is the reason I'm thinking about switching from Comcast who we have all of our phones, TV & Internet with now.

I always hate to change when things are working ok but Comcast who has provided ok service still seems to think they have you hostage and keep upping their rates. I understand with the new U-verse optic system AT&T is putting in the HD is great and better than Comcast cable.

Thanks again.

5. Also was stuck in the Bellsouth merger
but have few complaints, other than that the DSL slows way down during peak "dinnertime" hours. Stayed with it because of the convenience of bundling all the bills (phone, DSL & cellular) together, and we also just got Direct TV which we can bundle in, which is twice the features and half the price of Comcast.

6. I LOVE IT.
I had Comcast phone, internet and cable. The phone and internet were so unreliable that I was forced to finally break down and buy a cell phone in case we needed to call 911 (we have a lot of health crisis in this house). The quality of the service, when it worked, was awful too. Comcast came 19 times in 1 year to try and fix and it a nothing ever got better so I ripped it out and went back to Bellsouth.

Now it's ATT - 2 years - not one problem, hassle or lack of service - not one.
