It's clear today it's a matter of when, not if, we attack Iran. What do we at DU do then?

It's clear today it's a matter of when, not if, we attack Iran. What do we at DU do then?
This morning (Sunday):

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (AP) -- President Bush said Sunday that Iran is threatening the security of the world, and that the United States and Arab allies must join together to confront the danger ''before it's too late.''. . .

. . . ''Iran's actions threaten the security of nations everywhere,'' Bush said, calling on the Iranian government to make itself more accountable to its citizens. ''So the United States is strengthening our long-standing security commitments with our friends in the Gulf, and rallying friends around the world to confront this danger before it is too late.''

We've heard this kind of language before. We know what's coming. Cheney has dropped off the face of the Earth, no doubt planning the coming attack on Iran. Assuming martial law is not declared in the wake of the coming attack, what do we do? Do we take to the streets? Hope the Dems show some spine and move to impeach Bush?

The failure to move against this madman ("Impeachment is off the table") puts us in the precarious position of hoping against hope that the U.S. military will refuse to do his insane bidding.

I'm not sure what we here can do. Maybe we all ought to write our representatives and tell them we expect them to speak out against it before it happens. And to hold them accountable. Your thoughts?

2. I don't think it is clear at all. I think the NIE nailed the coffin shut on
Cheney-bush's dreams of more and more new wars.

7. I'm saving this post to my Journal, and will return to it in November, right or wrong.
If my prediction is wrong, so be it, and I will admit to being wrong. But given our experience with the Bush administration, I stand by it. You and the others who do not think it will happen seem to me to buy into the triumph of hope over experience. And our experience has been that when the chimp talks like this, it means war.

8. I Don't Think He Can
It's not that he doesn't want to or even intend to, but that he really can't.

9. That could be right. That's why I noted the military possibly refusing to comply.
If it doesn't happen, it won't be because he doesn't want to, that at least is clear.

6. I've seen the predictions of imminent invasion for a long time here at DU
I too hope the NIE reports will prevent it. Also, the "incident" in The Gulf of Hormuz has been taken apart, so, I'll keep my fingers crossed.
