2. Yup. This Tuesday.
I can choose between Clinton, Dodd, Gravel, Kucinich, or uncommitted. Or I could vote in the GOP Primary AND ACTUALLY HAVE MY VOTED COUNTED!

:grr: :grr:

15. There's only one choice for you in Michigan:
Romney!

I'm assuming you've seen this

http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/1/10/2713/87225/55/434206

but if not, please do.

I think it'd be a great thing for us to show the Goopers that we can control their "reality" for a change.

16. I got a phone call from Mitt last night
How kind of him to call me. Or his automated tape anyway.

Not a bad idea to vote for Mitt. Maybe I should let him know how much I appreciate his call. :D

17. I will be so glad if he wins MI. Seriously.
I really believe it was Mitt and Rudy getting all bitchy with one another in the earlier debates that hurt both of them; neither seem like viable candidates now.

But if Mitt wins MI, he'll have to put his money (literally) where his mouth is and campaign hard for Super Tuesday. And frankly, if he were able to miraculously resuscitate his campaign and emerge again as a front-runner, and win the nomination?

We'd beat him like a yard dog.

24. Didn't we all? Hell, that's at least the 4th or 5th call ... not counting the "town hall meeting"
... with a couple of his stand-ins. Gawd! That was appalling! I couldn't take more than about 10 minutes listening to the COMPLETELY STUPID assholes. One was on a lament/whine about the City of Berkley referendum(!) disallowing the Nativity Scene on city property. Unfreakingreal.

31. Bad idea.
I live in Michigan and me and my family will be voting 'uncommitted'. Voting 'uncommitted' gives Obama and Edwards supporters a better chance at getting delegates in.

Kos needs to worry about his own friggin state and stop meddling.

35. Is the presumption that the national committee will cave and admit MI delegates?
A fair enough presumption, although you have to admit that going to the poll just to vote "uncommitted" is going to be a hard sell.

26. it seems so strange to disenfranchise Miichigan Dems in this way
that is what is happening here, isn't it?

It seems like bass-ackward reasoning on the part of those who decided this - so many other states moved up their primaries without repercussions, right?

I really haven't decided. I'd be fine with any of the candidates. I'll make up my mind, perhaps, as I head for the polls on Feb. 5 here in GA.

25. Don't know, don't care.
My primary isn't until March 4th so I doubt it'll matter much. I was annoyed at first, but now I realize this is for the best because I'll have enough energy and venom for the GE when some of you nuts are exhausted from your year long primary blood bath. :P

because the state Dems thought it'd be great to play a game of chicken with the DNC. The DNC overreacted and stripped us of all delegates.

I'm not particularly happy with either the state Dems or the DNC. The DNC was reactionary though. I think they fucked up big in disenfranchising us. I hate to say it, but the RNC handled it better. They cut the delegation in half. Maybe, I'll just go ahead and vote for Romney because he'll be a lot easier to beat than McCain in the general election. And I think Edwards and Obama made a stupid choice in not keeping their names on the ballot.

What the hell does uncommitted do anyways? As of now, there won't be any delegates. I've heard several say, the delegates MAY go to Edwards and Obama. But as of now, there's no indication the DNC will budge. May as well go and fuck with their primary process.

Unless he's no longer in the race. Then I'm definitely voting for Kucinich.
