So my hubby and I were talking about it... and we both went... WTF do our taxes pay for? We called 9.11 on the 14 of the last month for an emergency call... well we got charged for the emergency call by the EMS system. Our police has been cut to the bone... and then some Our library system is in trouble Our parks system has been cut to the bone Much of our trash collection has been privatized. So exactly what are my taxes paying for? Lord knows they are not even filling the holes in the street... For the record I have no problem paying taxes, but hod damn it... I want some return for that investment!

6. Personally I think that if the audits were finally done...
you do catch me drift, don't you? But this has to be asked nationwide We hear the mantra of lower taxes... well there you have it... lower taxes lead to this mess

4. red letter days off, early retirement, and Christmas bonuses or city/county workers.
You get a return on your investment, the allow you to live in your house one more year. We're all a bunch of dumbasses for not finding state/fed jobs.

5. WRONG, though that is the kind of answer I'd expect from
those who really have an ideological point to make Reality is that those salaries have been cut to the bone as those city employees are facing hard times. Oh never mind
