I like Hillary, Barak, John and Dennis
I'm delighted to be able to choose among these four.

Just thought I'd mention that, because for all the whining and bitching going on in here, remember that at the end of the day, most Democratic voters probably, more or less, agree with me, and most Republican voters aren't at all happy with their choices.

Oh, and lastly--I haven't decided yet who I'm voting for in my Feb. 5 primary. I might go for whomever's fans are the least obnoxious.

1. Of all, I think Dennis is the most consistent .

4. Oh, I'm certainly closer to Denis' views on most topics than the rest.
I've leaned toward voting for him. But there's the whole "electability" issue; I'd be lying if I pretended like that didn't matter. It might play a big role in my final decision (and no, at present, that issue doesn't really favor any of the other four, although one could make a case that Edwards actually matches up better against the GOP than anyone else on our side.)

3. Heh heh!! Well, you sound like the perfect candidate to get beaten up from all sides!
I'm down to two candidates, and if I don't get clarity soon, I am going to flip a fifty cent coin!

6. I don't mind getting beaten--it's our candidates that I worry about.
I remember Rudy and Mitt going after each other in the earlier GOP debates, and both of them wound up becoming personae non grata among Republican voters.

Right now they GOP is in serious disarray. We aren't... yet.

13. They'll be fine, and so will this forum. Even with all the lunacy. NT

5. Me too
I am shocked at the attacks that go on here. Especially the ones targeting Kucinich. He has no chance and yet is still attacked, with at least one member who seems to be stalking Kucinich threads. I think I know why.

7. In cyberspace, wussies become all-powerful...
I, unfortunately, CAN believe the attacks. I also think a lot of brighter folks are either laying low or just trying not to make things worse.

9. LOL
Sometimes the fans on board do cause a negative effect. I try to remind myself of this and I think its an important point. If you plan to represent a campaign, no matter if you're the chairman or a lowly blogger please remember that you represent your candidate to the public, just like you represent your company when you interface with others. You could cause a negative backlash that will harm your candidate.

10. Yeah... not to get all concern-trollish
because I'm not real worried about what independent voters or potential converts from Gooperville might think because frankly I don't think they read DU. But I do worry about negative backlashes becoming an excuse for apathy.

We'd all of us be bloody well ready to fight like hell for our party's candidate once the primary is over. I know most of us will, for all the yakking by some to the contrary.

12. Unfortunately I don't think a single one of them
is very electable and that includes my guy Edwards who steps on too many powerful toes.
