Judge Will Stop Dem Debate If Dennis Isn't Included
“LAS VEGAS — A Nevada judge said Monday that Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich must be included in Tuesday's candidates' debate in Nevada.

Senior Clark County District Court Judge Charles Thompson said if Kucinich is excluded, he'll issue an injunction stopping the televised debate.

The judge sided with a lawyer for the Ohio congressman, who says debate host MSNBC at first invited Kucinich to take part and then told him last week he couldn't.

A lawyer for the network said MSNBC decided to go with the top three candidates after the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries.

The judge called it a matter of fairness and said Nevada voters will benefit if they hear from more than just Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards.” Cont…

2. Not One Either, But I Commend Him For Pushing Back
and not letting MSNBC mess with him. I agree with the judge, they shouldn't have invited him in the first place. I hope they slow some class and are not poor losers tomorrow night.

5. Wish we could vote on political analysts
I'd vote against keeping that Chuck Todd guy at MSNBC. Isn't he the one who came up with this exclusion scheme?
They should have kept Kucinich in the debate.

12. Chuck Todd is obviously a DLC tool
He's both Anti-Dean and Anti-Kucinich. I think he's Anti-Edwards too.

17. I never have liked the guy
or thought much of his opinion. I'm very sure he's anti-Edwards. I hope this judge's decision gets him in trouble with MSNBC.

6. Over 200 people ran for the Democratic nomination in 2004. I'm guessing we have close to the same,
today? Are they ALL going to be included as per the judge?

16. The Primary Issue Was That They Invited Him
and then later on changed their minds. That's just plain bad manners.

14. Having a candidate speak is 'special'?
How long have you been in America?

This is a democracy but I can understand how you might not have known that after the last 7 yeras.

13. Well that would suck.
I just don't want the debate to be called off. It's the only good exposure Edwards gets from the media.
