10. Great Dog!
Awwwwwwww...

It'll be interesting to see if this was a scheduling issue, or the network.

22. His name is Sheridan
He's named after Captain John Sheridan from the Sci-Fi TV show Babylon 5.

2. They've got an NFL film crew with nothing to do. That little camera that rolls up and down over....
the field?

Instant replays.

3. I thought the opening few question camera angle from Obama's side
grouped Obama and Hillary and made Edwards look seperated to the right.

4. Funny. I thought there were 3 candidates at the debate
And all the so-called pundits are still barely mentioning Edwards' participation and his positions.

12. That part was very impressive.
When they started discussion about federal funding for campus military recruiting and ROTC, I swear a DADT question was about to come up. It didn't, so I kind of wish one of them framed their response with overturning DADT and federal funding.

14. Well, the Solomon Amendment...
... is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solomon_Amendment">integrally linked to DADT.

Each refused to take the bait, I guess.

18. The Funny Thing about Russert's Question, I Was Harvard NROTC...
Edited on Tue Jan-15-08 11:48 PM by CorpGovActivist
... and he's right, you had to cross-register at MIT to take the one course per semester. The money from the scholarship for the full tuition was paid to MIT, which then turned around and cut a check to Harvard.

The year that the Solomon Amendment was passed, I was in my senior year, and working at the Law School, which was up in arms about allowing the military on campus after DADT.

So this one hits close to home.

- Dave

P.S. Anytime on the chess, and you'll likely teach me a thing or two.

5. That's the first thing I thought of.
It's not the camera-he's not on the stage. I don't know whose decision that was. If it was Edward's-bad move.

17. This is exactly why I came here after the debate, if you Tivo'd it go back
and look at the very first few minutes of signing. You'll see they show the back of his head off to (I think) the left of Hillary. That was the last time I saw him.

20. Yea it was painstakingly obvious that he was missing at the end
from the various camera shots. Only one time did they show him and it was from behind and sort of dark--you could barely tell it was him. But hell, they only got 100 other closeup shots of Hillary. So you know, they needed to show MORE of hillary in the case that you missed the "we heart hillary" message. But I'm not surprised. The day after she lost in Iowa, MSNBC went into full Hillary gear and had her plastered 24/7. Thank god for remote controls.

What I am waiting for is the John Edwards day. Wonder if that will ever happen......
