and please feel free to offer any corrections to errors you may see in this post. But this how I understand it:
Kucinich has only paid $27,000 and can only get a
partial recount with that money. Unless he raises the rest of the funds totaling almost $70,000.00, then he will only do a partial recount. His website does not have a seperate way to donate toward the recount, you can only donate toward his campaign. I find this surprising. Kucinich is smarter than that. And ALL of the election integrity experts are saying that a partial recount could actually unintentionally VALIDATE these machines (just as happened with the partial recount in 2004) since small margins of error can be "explained away" as commonplace errors that would not make a huge difference in the final tally.
I wish Kucinich would clarify these rumors on his website.
If Kucinich really does only do a partial recount, then the Republican recount could be more interesting to watch. Howard Albert (the Republican candidate requesting a statewide recount of ALL Republican ballots) whose funds got held up by PayPal yesterday, has paid the full $55,600.00 fee and will begin his recount tomorrow.
http://www.opednews.com/articles/genera_shaun_ha_080116_update_on_nh_recount.htmThis should get very interesting indeed. Especially since Sutton, NH reported that Ron Paul got 0 votes, even though numerous people claimed to have voted for him. The tally in Sutton for Paul now stands at 31. It's all very odd.
