After watching Wexler's impassioned plea for impeachment hearings, and listening to the stupid reasons he has been given by the Democratic leadership for not pursuing impeachment, well, I guess I just don't get it. And I find I'm very disappointed with Congress, dammit - even more than usual.
All of our politicians sure do seem to "love" the Constitution - but so few of them are actually willing to act on that "love," to protect our imperiled Constitution. But the Constitution Congress is "protecting" now, sure ain't the one I grew up with. Seems that this, is our Constitution, now...  |
