McCain, the torturer (warning, graphic, if iconic, picture from Vietnam)
Edited on Thu Jan-17-08 02:09 AM by ConsAreLiars
I'm so sick of hearing a mass murderer like John McCain being praised as a hero and offered sympathy for his suffering as a POW. He was a mass murderer. He dropped napalm bombs. He was as evil as those who rape and murder in Iraq today. Even worse, actually, since he is still trotting his vicious hate mongering ass all around the US advocating for more blood and more napalm and more massacres.

He got off very easy, considering his crimes against humanity. He survived. Millions of Vietnamese did not. Now using his "service" and his utter cowardice (kill them all before they hurt me) and paranoia as a means to gain status and backing from the US war profiteers to promote more wars everywhere, he is the worst of whores for the military-industrial-bloodsucker complex.

Here is what he did. This is his "heroic" work. (Yes, for you nitpicking warmongering apologists, I know this particular photo was of the aftermath of a bombing done in the south of the country by the US puppet "air force" that was supplied with training, planes, napalm bombs, targeting and commanded by the the same monsters who gave McCain his orders.) Napalm works the same way everywhere.

1. And we are hearing the same lie today, "We have to get them over
there before they come over here." Guess what folks. We lost and The majority of the American people do not speak Vietnamese.
The domino theory is horse shit. :dem:

2. Exactly. He is almost the purest form of chickenshit irrational
cowardice on the AmeriKKKan scene today, present pResidents excepted. Yet even Democrats like Kerry and others drop to their knees, suck whatever, and praise him. If anyone wants to point to symptoms of the disease that is killing us all, that is certainly one of the key indicators.

3. McLame wasn't a Hero in the Vietnam Fiasco.
He is considered a Hero because he survived as a POW. Does that make him a Hero?

5. Mine, too. It says all anyone needs to know
about wars of conquest and the role of the US around the world. This is what those who control our government do with the taxes they take from us.

The bloody massacre of the people of Iraq is nothing new, sad to say. As long as our country is ruled by those who serve the masters of war, the interests of transnational capitalism, we will see many more such images. See, or don't, it is painful, Robert Fisk's photos of the McCain-loves-it butchery in Iraq. He loves it and wants more - it is part of his pathology, and that of many who admire him, to advocate for this - http://www.robert-fisk.com/iraqwarvictims_mar2003.htm

6. Did he drop napalm on women and children?
I think you throw around the phrase 'mass murderer' a bit to cavalierly.

7. Of course he did.

That was his job. Your defense of his bombing raids is as vile as his participation. He went thousands of miles away to murder Vietnamese, and you defend him? How sick is that? Mass murder is exactly the right description of what he did then, and of what he advocates today, and what you now try to defend. You think the napalm he dropped only hit adult males and that somehow that makes it OK?
