I'm tired of trying to decide which candidate I prefer; in truth, they both would rock for different reasons.

I really believe Obama has the unique capacity to unite folks across party lines - he also has the capacity to change the very perception (on a planetary scale) of how other countries view us. His inclusive message would spread far and wide. With Barack Obama as our president, I truly think the world will be a safer place - we would have less people angry with us, and electing him would represent the best of America's values. He offers hope in a tangible way that simply can't be beat. He message is right on!

I really believe John Edwards would fight for the middle class. More than any other candidate, he understands that corporations rule the body politic. John would give the government back to we the people, and take away the greedy incentives that feed corporate arrogance and greed. I think John Edwards is unequivocally the most electable across socio-economic groups and regions. He has already been through the ringer when he was the VP candidate, rethugs fear him the most!

So there ya have it - I really like them both! I would canvas, phone tree, go to meet-ups, sit in the Dem booth at the country fair, pass out signs, register voters, and write editorial to our local papers for either candidate. I am that enthusiastic about them both!

Hillary would get my vote, but not my enthusiasm - I'd not even plant one yard sign.

I give a very slight edge to Edwards, so that's my personal leaning. But I'd work like hell for either John or Barack.

One voters view on this windy winter's day....

5. Now that is pretty much exactly the way I feel... I should just let you vote for me

I have no reservations about Edwards (did about some of his early voting in the Senate, but I believe he does see the error of his old ways).

I have some fears about Obama's wanting to play nice, but I'm beginning to think that underneath that, he's a lot more independent than he seems. He won't let anyone take advantage of him when it counts, I think, he's too thoughtful for that.

As for Hillary, I have to say that the last debate made me realize she'd be a competent president in her own right, and would probably be pretty good for the country. I just hate the dynasty thing and the negativity.

edit: yikes, just read my reply through and it's amazing how naive it all sounds. Really, for me the difference in how much I can support one of our candidates is directly related to how far away from the corporations they've distanced themselves, hence Edwards, Obama, Hillary, in that order. Hillary is the only one I don't think would take a stab at changing the system, and, in a perfect world, that would be enough to rule her out.

6. I'd Support Obama as VP
He needs more experience.
By 2016 (after 2 Edwards terms) he would
win easily.
