SMIRK-BOY to offer stimulus ideas... (same old crap that didn't work too well the last time)
President Bush to offer views on economic package
Fri Jan 18, 2008 4:00am EST
Reuters - By Caren Bohan

WASHINGTON, Jan 18 (Reuters) - President George W. Bush will offer ideas on Friday for shoring up the fragile U.S. economy, as he and the Democratic-led Congress move forward with talks on a plan to avert a recession.

A consensus has emerged on the need for a rescue plan for an economy that has been hit hard by a housing crisis, a credit crunch and a surge in oil prices. But the details have yet to be worked out.

A package totaling up to $150 billion is under discussion between the White House and Capitol Hill, according to sources familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity. Under consideration are tax breaks for families and companies and spending to help low-income people weather the downturn.

Bush is to speak in only general terms about what type of fiscal stimulus package he would like to see, as he makes remarks at the White House on the economy on Friday at 11:50 a.m. EST (1650 GMT).

get out your KY jelly - we're about to be screwed by an elephant again

10. have heard a few numbers thrown about regarding the "rebate"
for single person household - $150, $500 and this morning local news said $800

before I had a chance to comment on it - my partner says "well, no matter what the amount, it will help pay for wood for next winter's heating."

11. Little Nero WIll Do Just Like Daddy Did...Nothing...Just Fiddle
I'm sure we'll hear the usual "more tax cuts for the rich" and he'll blame the Democrats for all his defecit spending and turning the SEC and the Fed into a gambling casino. Fortunately no one listens to this shitstick.

I've long believed that this downturn was timed as the booosh gang was getting ready to leave town...the damage is down, the money has been fleeced and now the tracks are being covered. And even in this bad economy, these bastards are still profiting...watching their oil and gold stocks shoot through the roof and those defense stocks are still kicking ass. Just like how his daddy had no clue about the economy in '92, this fukwad is totally detached and couldn't care less.

This moron has now turned into a wind-up doll...no matter what the issue, this turd has to say something about it...and it's usually garbled bullshit.

13. Who Needs Writers...
Fiddle Fiddle Fiddle...

Next to foreign affairs, this dude is clueless on economics. Of course we'll hear the pavlovian responses and in-action. The fun thing here is to see the more this regime tries to put lipstick on the pig, the more it exposes the morally and now economic corrupt repugnican party.

Maybe we needed to burn down the village to end this decade of greed and speculation.

Cheers...

:hi:
