1. Let me guess.
A permanent tax cut for the rich, coupled with a tax "rebate" for us working slobs. A "rebate" that is simply an advance on whatever refund we might get on our taxes. I.e., it's money that we would have gotten back anyway. Or, even better, if you were going to owe taxes, now you'll owe that much more. Whoopeee!

THANKS BUSH YOU FREAKING JACKASS!

2. In Negotiating With Dems on the Stim Package, Chimp Actually
Edited on Fri Jan-18-08 08:46 AM by paparush
Agreed not to include wording to the make the 2003 Tax Cuts Permanent.

Seems Chimp knows his legacy is shit and the economy hitting full blown recession just in time for Nov, 2008 isn't going to help the GOP.

6. The rebate has restrictions
Only there are restrictions on who gets a rebate check. The rebates would likely be limited to individuals with incomes of $85,000 or less and couples with incomes of $110,000 or less.

8. Exactly,but no one else seems to get it.
If they could somehow replace the money that the oil and insurance companies have stolen in the past seven years the economy would be in a lot better shape.

11. TRUE - but you also need to replace the jobs
No one seems to be minding the store (so to speak) of the technology leaving the country as well.

The FTC (under the Bush administration) has not seen to merger/trade deal it does not like. Look at Intel now building the largest simiconductor plant in the world - in China. China threatened to take of the world's chip production in 2005 but did not have the technology - Now they do

Cisco Systems, 16 billion dollar investment in China - including building colleges to educate the new IT work force of the world

MIT's Nuclear Fusion containment technology and soon Laurence Lab's Fusion Ignition technology all being given to Japan. A decade worth of research bought and paid for by American tax payers

9. he's speaking about it around 11:50am est today -- play bushit bingo?
give yourself 1 point or take a drink when he says:

- Democrats fault for not enacting permanent taxcuts
- calls for his taxcuts to be made permanent
- stimulus (extra points if he uses a plural and says it as stimuluses as opposed to stimuli)
- jump start
- get people working
- corporate taxcuts
- create jobs
