Where was the media outrage at the swiftboating of Kerry? that McCain is getting
I'm watching Tweety (or is it Twitty), Joe Scharborough, and Andrea Mitchell decrying the swift-boating in SC of John McCain ('A true American Hero who was in the Hanoi Hilton') and yes it is wrong to swift-boat McCain. But they are all saying, "How can these people (who are swiftboating him) live with themselves?"

Well, where was that outrage with all the swift-boating of Kerry in '04? another American hero. All they did was discuss it over and over and play the ads over and over giving them millions of $$ in free publicity.

I hate the corporate media.

2. Hate to wear a tinfoil hat but;
The longer it goes the more I wonder if the skull and bones thing wasn't why we ended up with Kerry as our candidate. Dean was in the lead and suddenly taken down by an out of context moment . Swift-boating was never to this day challenged to any convincing degree. Obvious voter fraud in Fla. and Ohio and never a word said. Kerry just rolled over and played dead....why? Anyone have a better explanation, I would love to put my mind at rest.:tinfoilhat:

3. A lot of people here helped
I specifically remember "where there's smoke there's fire" posts and threads, haven't wanted to remember who posted them. Not nearly enough Democrats said "how dare they".

I hope a few Kerry bashers around here pay attention to what every single member of our party should have done.

4. The media played every Swiftboat ad over and over. Free advertising.
You won't see that in this situation. Nope. "Well, that's different."
