My 1000th post!

It has taken me almost 3 and a half years to hit 1000 posts. I would like to write something really profound but I am extremely tired. So instead, I'll just say "Thank you."

Thanks to the admins and mods for all they do. Most of all thanks to all the posters here for your humor, intelligence and activism. There was a time, right after the 2004 election, when I really think I might have gone a bit insane, if it weren't for all of you. While I didn't post much, it was just good to know that I wasn't the only one that felt like I was living in Bizarro USA.

And, since I probably made about 20% of my 1000 posts these last fews days as we prepared for the great Edwards fundraising effort of 1/18/08, a special thinks to all the great Edwards supporters. Any candidate who has supporters as great as you guys, has already won.

There are tons of folks who support the other candidates who I like and respect. Like you, for instance.

It's funny, I had planned to kind of sit out during the primaries because I really hate a lot of nastiness and anger. But I've learned to tune a lot of that out and focus on the good. And there is a lot here that is very good!

day here. I know that DUrs are making arguments in support of their favorite candidates. We will I believe unite to defeat the Repugs with their failed foreign neo-con policies and hypocritical capitulation to the fundies' so called family values agenda. I'm hanging in there I hope you also will.
