Poll question: The Edwards campaign?
After a disappointing showing in Nevada, where stands the Edwards campaign?

1. I think he will stay in to drive the debate, and *potentially* have the
delegates to keep Obama or Clinton from winning a majority of delegates going into the convention to become a power-player there.

I don't believe he will be able to win the nomination outright anymore (barring an unexpected win in SC). I think we need him in the race though. He is having a very positive impact on the process.

2. I don't think there will be a brokered convention,...
...but I'd like to see him stick until at least super Tuesday.

As a slightly more than lukewarm Hillary supporter, I came away from the MSNBC Nevada debate very proud of all 3 of them.

Without a doubt, any of ours is FAR better than any of theirs!

PEACE!

3. Absolutely!
If you look what JE did in 2004, he stayed in well past Super Tuesday, when Kerry was winning practically everything. With things being split between Clinton and Obama, I see him staying in even longer than 2004.

I don't see him as running again in 2016 if we get a two term Democrat in, so this is really his last hurrah in presidential politics, I think. He can (and should) cruise along and see what it gets him.

IMHO, the better "deal" he can get out of this, the better it will be for America. He should be appealing to a Dem adminstration as he has Senate experience but would not take away any of the current Senate seats we will need to put legislation through.
