The American people piss me off.
Yes, we elect Congressmen and Senators to represent us but it is up to us to hold them accountable when they do not represent us. When the FBI, the CIA, the White House, the Homeland Security, and the National Security apparatus lie to the Congress and the American people and destroy evidence that would expose their crimes against humanity, we have a responsibility to prosecute them to the full extent of the law. That is accountability. That is necessary if we are to remain a government of the people. When the Congress takes impeachment off the table and refuses to even examine the crimes that have been committed in our name, and the American people do not hold them responsible, then that pisses me off.

1. I wish you had a solution to punish Congress for not abiding by our
wishes. They know they haven't acting in the best interests of their constituents, but that doesn't seem to matter.

2. I really think that our representatives should have skin in the game
right now they are virtually immune from any but the most egregious acts.

6. Yet we keep electing them back into office
What incentive do they have?

3. Let me join you in your pissed-offedness
It's the complete lack of accountability that really gets my underwear all in a wad.

5. I understand.
The folks here at DU are doing the best they can do, but we are a very small minority. I'm pissed off at myself because I can't do more.
