14 Tons Of Debris Found On Campus

Crews on Monday will detonate 50 more bombs that were discovered over the weekend at Odyssey Middle School in Orange County.

The Army Corps of Engineers this weekend dug up 50 23-pound bombs, rocket warheads, rifle grenades and other munitions.

The school and parts of the subdivision were constructed on the former Pinecastle Jeep Range, which the military used in the 1940s.

'discovered' over one weekend? I'm having a hard time imagining how this could be 'discovered'. Did somebody lose track, forget, or misplace this stuff?
