If you want a Dem in the WH in Jan 2009,
You must NOT choose Hillary or Obama!

The rethugs are ruthless and it doesn't matter who they pick as their nominee, they will rake Hillary or Obama over the coals. It doesn't matter that it isn't right. It doesn't matter that it's not right because they will pounce with the race card, the sexist card, the wondering spouse/ex president card, (I know, who cares?), but they do! Hillary is very polarizing, and as proud I am of the progress of racism in this country, in the end, I don't trust that it is still enough. Folks...this is important. It wouldn't be if things weren't so god-awful FUBAR!

Yes, I'm for Edwards or Kucinich...whoever...it's just a race we cannot afford to lose. Let's not just juggle our future and hope it all lands right. Think about who you really want to rally behind! IT"S IMPORTANT!!!!!

2. All we hold dear truly rests on Edwards. I'm with him straight
thru, "It's not over until everyone votes. Don't let the pundits take away your voice for 2008."

4. Yep, unfortunately. Obama has zero chance of a GE win and HRC's not much better.
There is a very high probability that one year from today we will be hearing "President McCain" all over the teevee.
:scared:

16. All we would need is one more state in the midwest or west than we
had in either of the last two elections. I think either of them could beat McCain.

Hillary, about 5 or 6.

30. 50+ years of political and human observation.
Republicans have no monopoly on saying one thing publicly and doing the opposite in the privacy of the polling booth.

32. But Republican wives don't have their hubbies in the voting booth.
And Democratic women won't be staying home.

In New York state, HRC got 75% of the women's vote, which included lots and lots of Independents and even many Republican women in the red parts of the state. That pushed her overall count to over 60%.

IF she turns out to be the nominee, I think the Rethugs better watch out how they attack her or they'll run into a N.H. style backlash from women across the country.

This is from my 50+ years of human, especially female, observation.

P.S. I'm more concerned about election fraud, which could be the thing that does any of our candidates in.

Hence she has my support.

15. Edwards and Kucinich wouldn't be exempt from the Rethug smears.
Edwards would be portrayed as a flip-flopping, conniving, trial lawyer who made a fortune in hedge funds. Kucinich would be the flaky guy who talks to UFO's.

We won't find a candidate who won't be smeared. We need a candidate who will fight them tooth and nail.

20. You're right
but I think Edwards has more of a chance as a flip-flopping conniving trial lawyer than a black Muslim hell bent on jihad against Murica. and good lord those who hate Bill Clinton hate Hillary even more they will come out in droves. Edwards is the only one that they might just stay home for...add voter suppression and black box voting and McCain will be President.

Hillary will be our next President. I don't think Hillary hate really translates too far beyond hopeless Republicans and left/right wing blogs.

Good Lord, what a mess she will inherit!
