F**K the Congressional Black Caucus (and CNN and the Big Three)!
F'n scum. Period.

Why do I say this? Simple!

You may not remember it, but back in May (too long for anyone to remember, apparently) the CBC had announced that it was going to hold a debate in September that was going to be on Fox News!

Yeppers, Fox News. You can imagine how that one went down.

HRC, BO and JE were amongst those who said that they would not go on because it was Fox News. Fair enough, I suppose. But they did diss the CBC.

Now, amongst those candidates who said they would appear, and in doing so backed up the CBC and caught holy hell from the blogosphere's Fox troll patrols, was Dennis Kucinich.

That's right, CBC, Dennis had your back. Here's some of how http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=104&STORY=/www/story/05-29-2007/0004596926&EDATE=">Dennis reacted to the then snubbing of the Big Three Hypocrites:

CLEVELAND, May 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Democratic Presidentialcandidate Dennis Kucinich said Sunday he would definitely participate in aSeptember debate sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus and scheduledto be broadcast on the Fox Television Network. Kucinich said for Sens.Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, and Barack Obama to skip the debate simplybecause it was to be broadcast on Fox was a snub of the Congressional BlackCaucus.

"This is particularly troublesome because the concerns of AfricanAmericans should take precedent over what network is broadcasting thedebate," Kucinich said. "There are matters relating to employment, healthcare, education, jobs, rebuilding our cities, environment and civil rightsthat all presidential candidates have an obligation to address and debate. Those candidates planning to skip this debate clearly are trying to avoid aforum where there will be hard-hitting questions from people who may notagree with them. But taking questions from all sides is part of politics, and part of being President. I'm running to be President for all people inthis country."

Dennis had the back of the CBC, and took an amazing amount of flack for them. Who's sponsoring tonight's debate? The F'n CBC. Who's on the debate? The Big Three Hypocrites. Who's not on the debate? Dennis Kucinich, the guy who took holy hell for the F'n CBC.

More from Dennis:

"America needs a President with the ability and willingness to unitepeople of diverse political views," Kucinich said, "Let us never forgetthat the symbol of our country, the American eagle, needs two wings to fly- a left wing and a right wing. I'm prepared to reach out to all Americans. We all deserve to be heard, and we all deserve to be represented."

"Certainly many Fox viewers are not part of the traditional Democraticbase," Kucinich said, "but they have a right to hear from the Democraticcandidates and we as candidates have an obligation to reach out to them.Families who view Fox News have lost loved ones in Iraq, lost their jobs toNAFTA, and lost their homes to medical bills, just as have the viewers ofother networks."

Kucinich said the refusal of the three senators to participate in thedebate raises questions about whether or not they really have the abilityto be President.

"First Sens. Clinton and Edwards were tricked by George Bush intovoting for the war. Then they and Sen. Obama voted most of the time tosupport funding the war. All three have said all options are on the tablewith Iran, meaning they are ready to go to war against Iran. This raisesquestions about their judgment, about who they are, who they represent?African-Americans - and Fox viewers - have a right to know."

"I know some people object to Fox News," Kucinich said, "and they takeissue with Fox coverage, and the way Fox covers the news. I've taken issuewith Fox on many occasions, but I don't hesitate to be questioned by Fox orany of its affiliates. I've also taken issue with the New York Times -which, after all, was largely responsible for selling the Bush war plans tothe American people. But this will be a live debate. The issue here is not what questions Fox broadcasters will ask, but how the candidates for President will answer them. The issue is not what the commentators will say after the debate is over, but what we as candidates say during the debate."

"The questions asked by the Congressional Black Caucus will be just asimportant, and our answers just as telling, on Fox as on any other network," Kucinich said.

So, why am I writing rather than watching the debate betwen the Big Three Corporate Shill Hypocrites, on Corporate News Network and sponsored by the F'n worthless CBC?

I think I answered my own question.

Go Dennis! :woohoo:

2. Id like to see you sell a product with no advertising and only...
comments that belittle your product without letting you speak. You wouldn't be able to compete with the products that were flooding the airwaves. I dont understand why so many people that may be educated, cant understand that the media controls where people poll? Sometimes I guess its best to have common sense than to be highly intelligent because too many around here have no clue whats going on with our countries corrupted political system.

So many sheeple, so little time. Wake up sheeple, before the machine comes for you!

First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.

4. It's about honor as much as anything.
The CBC's shown they don't have any.

or executive level job Etc, say, I am intrigued by what you are saying about politics, but none of what you talk about is ever mentioned by the TV news people, and I'm not able to really give your ideas credence until mainstream news covers it.

So many people fall into that category.

And should you try and talk about the corporate censorship tht is going on, they look at you like your tinfoil hat needs adjustment.

10. He's welcome to,
as are you. On the other hand, the CBC (via it's institute) was sponsor of last night's debate. They didn't have Dennis' back.

13. And for that you're cussing out the people who fought for Al Gore
to the bitter end, who went to Ohio and took testimony when no one else would, who are the hardest working progressives in Congress?

You might want to reflect that you aren't privy to all the issues or to all the negotiating that took place before you insult some of our very best friends in Congress in such a disgusting way.

9. First Of All, Dennis Was Wrong To Blast The Big 3 For Such Reasons. 2nd Of All, He Shouldn't Have
been there so there really is no problem.

We're a little bit past the point of 1-2% candidates in the debates now, and it's a bit ridiculous to still hold onto the position that he should be part of all of them. Time to let go.

I think it was nothing more than an opportune cheap shot for him.

Obviously you are neck deep in campaign ethos.

I mean, what difference would Kucinich's support have made for the caucus' planned debate in the first place ?

I like the guy, but come on.
