First, let me just say that I thought YOUR candidate did GREAT tonight. And I am going to send them $100 once they win the nomination. Whomever they are.

Irritated at the unfair or brutal attacks from the other side? I'm not. I'm thrilled. In a REAL democracy REAL issues get hashed out in public. And where the money comes from is about as real of an issue as you can name. Lobbyists. Standing up to the biggest lobbies out there like pharmaceutical and HMOs. What you spent your life doing before you stood on this stage. Permanent military bases in Iraq. Interest rates. Economic policy and its effect on the lower classes.

Brutal debate beats a glossy pre-staged feel and it's healthier than premature consensus. It wasn't a made-for-TV movie orchestrated by one behind-the-scenes director.

They each have their flaws and their strengths, and they each scare me in one way or another. But you know what? They are each about 50,000 times better than George W. Bush. No matter which one ends up in the White House, I am going to have reason enough to be flat out ecstatic about it. Not JUST because George is out -- each one of these three brings their own positives to be thrilled about.

I kind of hope we end up with two of them on the ticket -- any two.

1. I like it when they go for the jugular.

Just get down and honest about what you think. I respect it a lot more than the cowardly approach of letting someone else do the attacking for you and then pretending it didn't come from the campaign. Or letting your spouse be the attack dog.

Let's really talk about Hillary's time on the Walmart board and her corporate ties. Let's talk about Rezko's donations to Obama (and every other politician in Illinois).

2. They're also many MANY times better than any of the Republican candidates
Any one of them are head and shoulders above the Republicans. Of course, I make no secret that I support John Edwards for the primary, but I like all our candidates.
