Newsflash! A lot of people don't give a shit about sexual orientation anymore!

(Which is a good thing).

This past Sunday at a large family dinner (in AL), my 78 year old father spoke about how his opinions have changed about Gay people and went on to speak of Gays that he had hired in his business and how they were all fantastic employees and genuinly good people. The conversation started after my speaking about a gay friend of mine.

This is the same guy who when I was a kid told me to stay out of theatre and music because it was "full of odd people."

If this man has progressed, I want to believe that it's a sign of a trend. :toast:

I truly feel that today, if a Clinton/Obama/Edwards would LEAD on GLBT rights, America would follow.
