Bush will Get Away with Destroying our Economy! The Stage is Set
Edited on Tue Jan-22-08 06:48 AM by spooked
Bush is going to get away with destroying our economy with his endless war and corruption and selling out of the middle class...The stage is set to blame it ALL on the collapse of "global markets".

Look at this quote from Lehman Brothers...and don't forget that Jeb Bush's new company won a consulting contract with Lehman Brothers.

So, this drop in global markets was the "One Shock" or tipping point for the United States...Prepare for a BIG drop today now that Bush has his cover...

U.S. Stock Futures Tumble, Point to Biggest Drop Since 2000

`One Shock'

The U.S. economy may be ``one shock'' away from a recession, with the global slump in stocks a possible ``tipping point,'' according to Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.
The New York-based firm sees the odds of a recession in the world's largest economy at 40 percent, rising from a ``1-in-3 chance'' at the beginning of the year, Paul Sheard, Lehman's global chief economist, said in a press briefing in Singapore today.

their house foreclosed, and they can't find a job to put food on their family, they don't say, "Damn those global markets anyway!"

5. Any way you slice it Bush and the GOP are going to get the blame.
Lets not forget it was the Gipper that started all this free trading. And most people already blame Bush and the war for making us weaker both at home and abroad. There's no way he gets a pass even if the media tries to give him one. He's going down as the worst president ever and he's taking the blame for the sell out of American manufacturing, the run up in gas prices, the fall of the dollar and every other catastrophe that has or will hit us for the next 3 years.

7. Republicans deserve blame for economic disaster but what about premeditation?
As the Shock Doctrine plays out in the US, will it become common knowledge that these oil/S&L/mortgage/war scans were literally designed to fail?

6. I'm pretty sure chimpy is in full panic mode at the moment. His friends
are still happy, having raided the treasury and sucked out all our dough, but I think chimpy is feeling like the eff-up that he is.

12. I'm not sure about that, a lot of those folks have their money tied up
in the stock market. They aren't going to be happy about a crash.
