The genius that is Glen Beck

Flipping stations in the car this morning I stumbled across Glen Beck. He was rambling on about how Democrats were all socialists and he would never support John McCain because he would compromise with the socialists. Then he said something to the effect of "I refuse to flirt the socialism or anything that is socialist, I'll move to Cuba or Canada if I want socialism. I prefer something called The American Experiment, which was working VERY WELL until the New Deal ruined it." Yeah Glen it was working swimmingly, except for that little thing called The GREAT DEPRESSION! See kids, you don't need college when you can learn history from a disc jockey.

Last night on his show, Glenn Beck — still riled up over his ass surgery gone awry — unleashed his anger on our 32nd president. Hosting the Wall Street Journal's Stephen Moore, Beck went on a rant about Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who he called "one evil son of a bitch." According to Beck, FDR's misdeeds include nationalizing "health care, energy, and everything else" and making the depression "go on and on and on for a decade."

I take it by "awry" you mean that they amputated the ass and left the bad part (rest) of him? How does one do ass surgery on someone who is a complete ass anyway?

Are they gonna march in lockstep and pretend it never happened?

They cherry pick the parts they want and the rest just didn't happen. The same principle they apply to their religious beliefs as well.

He just got a bad rap by the commies in the press. Oh and we really won in Vietnam, Watergate was just a second rate burglary and we found the weapons of mass destruction. I'm getting it now.
