Don't need no stinking tax cut if they would just dial the price of gas back to where it was when the Chimpanzee and his goons took office. That is what is killing me. And I don't drive that much. But when it costs $30.00 to put a half a tank into a Taurus like I did the other day we will never get ahead.

That is whats causing the inflation too. Its raising the price of everything that has to be shipped.

We are being gouged every day. Why are none of the candidates talking about this?

2. Price was too high. jr was going to jaw bone them to open the spigots.
What actually happened was that prices began to rise after Jan 2001 & never stopped rising. Then there was the natural gas price fixing that spring that bush did nothing to stop.

3. My neck of the woods it was $1.29 - and occassional gas wars
would drop it to $1.19, even $1.17.

My memory may be going, but I remember THAT.
