God. WHAT A F***TARD! State of the Union?
Edited on Tue Jan-29-08 12:33 AM by PretzelWarrior
MOre like a laundry list of conservative capitalist pig wet dreams. sung without feeling. Even HE knows his stupid fucking list is going to DIE without seeing the light of day.

THe American people have tuned him out. WHen they are forced to listen to him such as at this final state of the union by him....they become ill.

He should be given some kind of hard labor for the next 50 years or until he dies to help pay some kind of penance for the evil he has wrought on our suffering country and indeed the world.

what a hateful subhuman. He has nothing to offer. He is a dry drunk pathetic waste of skin in the service of the amoral corporate heads and super rich--not to mention the oil states.

I cannot watch him without remembering how hard I tried in 2000 to stop this 8 years I knew was before us. I feel so tired and bummed watching this piece of shit dare to still live.

32. We deserve whatever we let them get away with.
Throughout history, not just in this nation but many nations, those oppressed have shed their blood and been jailed as they stood up for their right of self-governance. Women, blacks, and gays have shown us the way - by standing in harm's way - to assert our right of self-governance. Blacks were a minority standing up to an overwhelming majority -- and achieved great progress. We're nowhere nearly as outnumbered. Some might even say we're the majority. Yet we're bending over and spreading our cheeks. We deserve the worst that's happened ... while we can't disturb ourselves enough to stand up for ourselves. "Let George do it" has become a way of life, now ... and we've become a nation of cowards and criminals.

Canceled elections? Just WHO the hell would stand up against that? We'd deserve whatever happened.

had much too long a run. Almost all in Washington have violated their oaths of office in my view, but who cares what yours truly thinks?

2. A trip down memory lane
“And so, in my State of the — my State of the Union — or state — my speech to the nation, whatever you want to call it, speech to the nation — I asked Americans to give 4,000 years — 4,000 hours over the next — the rest of your life — of service to America.”

5. can't believe he pulls the "enriching uranium" bullsh!t
on Iran after the famous words in his speech spawned hell on earth in Iraq for both our U.S. soldiers, Iraqis, and people back home.

it's like he truly knows our pain and delights in it. pokes the stick into the wound and twists.

He really is a sociopath.

He rehashed all the same points from all of the previous speeches. Maybe this time around the sheeple and media now see more clearly what they allowed to happen.

he will probably go home to his dog Barney (the only one still talking to him) and say....SH!T! I wasted a Sunday to practice reading a speech? I want to smoke my bong and kill some frogs, man!

just the worst possible person to be president out of the ENTIRE field of all candidates since 2000. I mean including ALL of them.

Oh, and thank you WOlf for telling us the synopsis of the speech is that Prez said the state of our union is strong. WTF? You're a moron too, Lupus Beardus.

10. good for you. I look at the horrible evil and ineptness
I look at how he and his buddies worked overtime to remove the gains Clinton years gave us while doing as much as they could to make us a warrior nation that breeds fear and mistrust of one another. I see a guy who drove us very far down the road to fascism and greater government control. I see a horrible time of us as Americans and humans trying to undo the prying and totalitarianism he has tried to put in place.

He's a sick fuck and not worth my hate. But I will forever rue the day he stained my life by becoming president through ROBBERY ONLY SO HE AND HIS evil fucks doing the devil's work could ROB US AS A NATION! ROBBED OUR TREASURY! ROBBED OUR FREEDOM! ROBBED OUR HOPE!

Look out on the nation. HOw many people feel optimistic and see great things in our immediate future? It is his putrescent lack of leadership or even morality that led us to this point.

A pox on HIM and all his family for 10 generations.

FUCK GEORGE W. BUSH

26. America is pretty much as it's always been.
You only THINK it's different. I know my life hasn't changed much since the middle 1980's (and it changed after that because I was able to obtain a college degree). Now, my sis, who is 65, was able to get a job here in Seattle and we live in a highrise downtown and don't owe anyone a dime. Even though she only has an A.A., she has more work than she knows what to do with. Our car IS getting a bit old, but that's the only thing I'd change if I could.

Life is what you make it.

38. That's an amazing load of bullshit
I grew up in the 70's. My dad didn't have a steady job, but did things like door-to-door encyclopedia sales while he was going through college. My mom didn't have a job.

They bought a house. We always had dinner.

The idea of even trying to do anything similar today is laughable. It is literally impossible to do something like that almost anywhere in the country today.

I don't buy that in SEATTLE you live in a highrise and owe nothing, without some extremely lucky circumstances.

I don't know how anyone can NOT hate him?

He has earned every bit of any hatred anyone has for him.

You don't think that the Iraqi people have reasons hate him?

After he has killed a million of them, displaced probably even more and what about all the orphaned Iraqi children. Should they not hate him for what he has done?

Still, hate is an emotion I have in me, directed square at Bush, Cheney and all their cronies. Yep. That emotion exists in me, and it'll stay in me at least as long as those bastards have their clutches on the levers of power.

I say when Bush dies, we give him a tombstone in the shape of a urinal, so we can all express our feelings for him after he's gone.
