Has anyone seen left-wing emails full of lies?

I get right-wing emails a lot from relatives and friends (or friends of friends). And usually more times than not, the RW message turns out to either twist the truth upside down or is just full of blatant lies.

But I never get stuff like that in my left-wing emails.

Has anyone seen left-wing emails full of lies?

Just an occasional Bush joke.

The RWers seem to love to pass around all that crap to one another. I get my fair share from my RW cousin.

But for all the liberal friends I have, I don't crap like that.

I've probably sent out a thousand Snopes links in the past few years. My parents actually asked me to stop doing that. I guess the myth is more important than the truth to these people.

They get circulated so widely that they start to sink in with people. Why do you think 50% of the country believes Obama is a Muslim?

I'm not a Hillary fan either, but this is just garbage (and compared to what's in office now she's a freakin' neurosurgeon herself who can't HELP but improve upon the mess BushCo has made)!

on one particular piece of trash with the snopes link and got a reply from some woman who said she hoped to see me on TV as a human shield in Iraq and said if I was so damned smart then why wasn't I president?!?! Lots of CAPS!!! GOD BLESS PRESIDENT BUSH!!!

They do seem to really be threatened by the truth.

And yeah, it does bother some of them. I've had some of them flame the hell out of me.. its like they cant stand hearing the truth...

When reading some of the replies, in my head i can hear Jon Stewart saying 'the truth has a know left-wing bias'... heh!

The inability to tell fact from fiction - - and the ability to flat out lie for political gain - - is seen in folks of all political stripes.

period-and most of my friends are liberals! I wish I did-I don't know who is so busy generating them on the right, but they've certainly outdone us in that department.

This must be one of those things that is just pure right-wing - like whining on AM radio or making unfunny "comedy" shows.

There are "Bush Body Counts" out there just like Clinton body counts.

We don't have to lie--there's plenty of corruption by Republicans. Those emails DO work, too. They have a great communication system; we need one that's just as good. I think we're missing out on a golden opportunity here.

They send out BS hit pieces daily.

I try to influence his thinking by showing him the facts but he still says he is unsure who to believe ( I suppose because the lies are from godly people)

The great unwashed masses are conditioned to believe that the truth is somewhere in the middle. Between the truth and lies.

in all its forms. I sincerely believe that we are not so easily convinced, or roused to angry action by such simple tactics as hateful email/hate speech. Appeals to the Democrat are better made with kindness and reason, IMHO.

But I've got the glimmering of an idea. Let's flood the 'tubes with our own emails, emails that lay bare the ugly truth about the Republicans and the Republican candidates. How many of your right-wing correspondents know about Mitt and his car-top dog? Or Rudy's serial marriage escapades?

Yeah, yeah, I know. We're the good guys -- we don't stoop to personal attacks. Well, the other guys do. And typical mouth-breathers don't care about issues, unless Rush or Weiner-Savage tells them it's an issue. So let's tell them about something that will pique their interest with the facts. Show them the true character of the clowns from that other party.
