I am not certain of what it was like back “in the old days” as I have often seen reference to, but I like it now. Border line: I love it, can’t have a day w/o it. Sure, there are some out there that like to post negatively. There are some that post trivial nonsense. Some bring constant conspiracy to the table. Others are easily offended. But that doesn’t bother me. Most bring true view points. Most bring hope - a rally to the cause. That cause is freedom. It is democracy. It is the future of a once great nation that was brought down by a machine that has no soul. Well I have a soul and most others do here also. We are compassionate human beings that care about our fellow man/woman. Human beings that rally around the periodic tragedies of our DU family members….pick you up when you need it. Maybe even knock you down a rung when you deserve it. That is what friends do - Good friends.
So, thank you to all that brighten our day and even cloud it occasionally. Thanks to those that converge all the news that most of us never could in a week, let alone a day. Those who call our attention to the less obvious, and point out the most. Thank you to those who are 1000+ posters and those that are 10. Thanks to you that host/moderate our forum and bring it to us w/o fail. Thank you.
