Yesterday I got a bit down in the dumps...and that was before Edwards dropped out.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x4285358 for the morbidly curious.
So this morning I resolved to think more positively or I was going to throw something. Possibly a small child. Which as we all know is not exactly a progressive thing to do.
Pitt's thread on Edwards for AG got me thinking about how to assemble a Democratic Dream Team. So assuming we have a Democrat elected to the Presidency in November, let's see what we can do to put together the most kick ass cabinet (with maybe a few bonus positions thrown in).
Despite our almost pathological detestation of rules, I feel compelled to present a few.
Rule 1: No speculating who the President is.
Rule 2: Nominee must be a Democrat (and a living one at that).
Rule 3: No buzz crushes insisting McCain will be President.
Rule 4: If you think this is stupid just ignore the thread rather than piss on my cornflakes.
Rule 5: Please take it moderately seriously. I would love to learn more about Democrats out there that I may have never heard of. I'm sure there are Governors, Reps, Senators, Lawyers, Activists, etc. who would be perfects fits that I have never encountered before. I'd like to broaden my horizons.
Thanks!
