Media Matters launches Matthews Monitor (Tweety)
http://mediamatters.org/action_center/matthews_monitor/

From email:

The recent firestorm over Chris Matthews' long history of degrading, sexist commentary has sharply underscored the need for a more focused look at his record as MSNBC's marquee talent.

I'm pleased to introduce Media Matters for America's latest information and action center, The Matthews Monitor. As you may have inferred, The Matthews Monitor is dedicated to doing just that -- monitoring the Hardball host's broadcasts to help promote increased accuracy, accountability ... and yes, to make sure he keeps his word to "be clearer, smarter, more obviously in support of the right of women -- of all people -- the full equality and respect for their ambitions."

Despite his modest cable audience, Matthews is an enormously influential power player within Washington's media elite. MSNBC has entrusted Matthews -- as host of Hardball, frequent on-air anchor for MSNBC, and host of the NBC-syndicated Chris Matthews Show -- with a prominent role in political campaign coverage throughout the last year and in years past. These platforms place Matthews in a unique position to define wider media narratives and agendas and shape public perceptions on critical issues.

That is why it is so crucial for Matthews to get it right. If left unchecked, factual errors and distortions on Matthews' shows have the potential to reverberate throughout the media and profoundly impact the debate. Media Matters created The Matthews Monitor in an effort to ensure that Matthews' coverage is solidly based on fact -- not speculation or personal animus.

The Matthews Monitor will be updated frequently with the latest on Matthews and important action campaigns, so I hope you will check back often and encourage your friends, family, and co-workers to visit and join with us as well. Together we can hold Matthews to his word.

7. If they get bored; which I doubt they will but what the heck...
They can monitor/watch Ed Schultz!

Ed Shultz is a Tweedy want-a bee........and will sell his soul out on his own radio show and MSNBC Hardball.
