Tonight the debate is at the Kodak
This is a 5 minute walk from our apt . It's going to be helocopters galore and madness .

If it were not for my massive anxiety and panic attacks I would walk up there to see what everyone is talking about with the Obama presence and magic .

1. I know someone who lives 5 minutes from the Kodak
who plays the guitar and looks like John Lennon.

3.  It's a mess even on a regular day >
They tore up the entire west side of Highland from HLWD BLVD to the Bowl and rebuilt it into this madhouse . We used to go to the bowl in the early to mid 80's , we went in Aug 2006 to see CSN&Y and the bowl which was a nice simple peaceful place has been taken over by Disney and ruined . There used to be more trees and on the walking path in there were grass and trees and picnic tables on both sides or the walk way now it's paved over bland horror . They also tore down old Hollywood and now it's this glass and steel buildings of modern horror . We gotta get out of this place .

We used to walk to the Bowl now with all the traffic we would certainly die from excess exhaust fumes .

4. Bit of a hype...

http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,2314...

"Obama's main claim to fame is that he's a compelling speech-maker. Yet unlike the rhetoric of a Kennedy or King, Obama's rhetoric seems aimless. He calls for hope, for change. Fine, but hope to do what, to change to what? He hasn't said yet. He doesn't seem to know. Shorn of purpose, his rhetoric seems increasingly an exercise in technique and style, "sound and fury, signifying nothing". He says that one of the high qualities of leadership is the ability to inspire by words, and he is right. It's a rare ability. But inspire to what end?"

5. All I can say is this .
Through decades there have been great speakers and writers and minds . Some spoke of hope , some spoke of hard times , some spoke of fantasy and some gave insight and some gave warnings of a future .

What do people choose most often , escape .

For me , personally a speech does not inspire me , at one time some did until I lost the rose colored glasses .

7. They're certainly not helping the "liberal Hollywood" stereotype any.
