8. Those writers must have a ball doing this show!
I'm reading a book now about a doctor who is committed to treating poor folk, and his humor is really cool.

He calls a good political speech a "well-formed stool". :+

Wolf Blitzkrieg.... gotta love it!

41. Google for online television.
There is so much out there! I don't have cable, so I've been catching up on Eureka and the 4400. Last night, I watched the very first episode of the Rockford Files. There's even one place that's collecting old movies.

Some want money, but a ton is free. And the ones that do it with commercials? ONE commercial per segment? Barely time to get to the refrigerator and back.

15. They're suing the DNC
because a superdelegate is voting for Obama and his state went for Hillary. He said that "in the words of Dick Cheney, 'so' "

The system is indeed completely rigged. Big money wins, America and the world pays. Or as the Judge said " Case dismissed, everyone losses."

20. And Alan Shore said: if you are not bound by how your district and state voted
why not vote for Kucinich at the party convention?

Makes sense.

I have been complaining the same thing on these pages. Mostly, that in some states like PA and TX - but perhaps in others, too - different districts were assigned different number of delegates, thus, some votes carried more weight than the others.

17. Shelley Berman and Henry Gibson look ancient.
They were playing the two judges -- Shelley Berman in the mad cow case, and Henry Gibson in the superdelegates case.

For you whippersnappers, Shelley Berman was a standup comedian in late 50s and early 60s, and Henry Gibson was on Laugh-In, a hit TV show, in the mid-60s.

I can't think of the exact scene now, but he plays an off-his-rocker judge really well.

29. Loved this episode
Shirley's nephew was such a weasel. But in a fun way
Alan gave another great speech.
And Denny Crane - the cows running away from him because they knew he had "Mad Cow"
Classic - just classic

If anyone watched the beginning they made light of the fact that they were changing times. Carl & Denny were waiting for a meeting to start on Tuesday at 10. Someone walks in and states that they've been moved to Wednesdays at 10. Who knew? The guy in the copy room (or something like that).

"We're on this Wednesday at 10, off next Wednesday, and then on again at 10 the two Wednesdays after that."

They did a similar thing when the show started up again after the writers' strike ended.

Jerry: I met someone during the strike, and I think I'm falling in love with her.

Alan: What strike?

Jerry: Oh, that's not important.

 I love those little winks at the audience!
