Organized by a reddit.com reader who collected $3700 for flowers to thank Helen for her pointed questions to Perino about torture on April 23.

petty and small-mindedly competitive.

Who cares if a hundred organisations send Helen Thomas flowers. The real point is that the message is getting out. Sometimes a little graciousness is in order.
