Aaron Brown (formerly CNN): "Olbermann…smarter…more talented" than Bill O'Reilly
Good to see that Brown is returning to TV on PBS

http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/generalities/aaron_brown_on_king_olbermann_oreilly_himself_83736.asp

Brown says he never felt like a real cable guy. That doesn't exclude him from having opinions about it, thankfully.

His take on the battle at 8 p.m. between MSNBC and Fox News Channel, for example:

Keith Olbermann and Bill O'Reilly "are both larger-than-life figures," he says, but Olbermann is "smarter, funnier, better read and eminently more talented."

Welcome back, Aaron Brown.

2. I'm really galad he's coming back.
I always found him to be a nice man and well informed.

When he was at CNN, he and Sparkly shared many an e-mail, sometimes several a day. He was extraordinarily accessible.

3. Aaron Brown was too 'boring' for cable news.
I enjoyed his show; he'd sit with newspapers and go over the next day's headlines. He has a brain and it's nice to see he's got a new gig more fitting to his style. :hi:

4. I think they are both "regular sized" fat guys, and Olbermann is slightly more intelligent than
O'Reilly--but not by as much as I used to think. He's starting to believe his own publicity, kinda like Morton Downey, Junior.

They're only larger than life because they can't push away from the donut tray...

15. Thank you for your concern about their weight.
I'm sure they care.

And for your concern about Keith's intelligence and his believing his publicity. I'm sure he will also give your concern there all attention it is due.

19. Well, unlike perhaps you, I really don't care what he thinks.
And I rather doubt he gives a shit what I think, either. The only one in high dudgeon here appears to be you.

If Olbermann trolls the web looking for instances where people are talking about him, he's pathetic, as well.
