Survey respondents were most concerned about declining water levels in Wisconsin rivers, lakes and ground water. Twenty-one percent say that is extremely problematic.
Sixty-six percent say they believe the natural environment in Wisconsin is excellent or good. And 48 percent say state government is doing extremely well or quite well in protecting the environment.
The University of Wisconsin Survey Center’s Badger Poll was conducted between April 15 and April 24. The random sample survey of 521 people has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.They must have went to the shallow end of the gene pool for their sample.
