Listen KO the reason why outrage has been reduced
is because your employers and the other enablers have a virtual lack out of the horror that is Iraq.

Thank you Rachel for some very good points.

1. KO's signing off with "Sleep well, Mr. President"....
That was as chilling to me as any of his Special Comments.

GEM$NBC has had a virtual black out on Iraq and the dead Americans and Iraqis.

7. America has a Pres. that will not end the US Occupation of
Iraq & a Congress that will not cease funding it.

No amount of protest, outrage or any action will bring an
end to this Fiasco unless another Pres. will end it.

8. Yep. And I, for one, achieved exhaustion and burnout some time ago. I marched in my town, organized
...town-hall meetings, marched on Washington DC three times -- quite an investment when you consider I live in California -- and basically nothing changed. While history may show that the American people stood up and called W a murderer and a liar, the MSM of today could scarcely be bothered to report on our activities.

It is heartbreaking. Dunno about the million other activists -- but there, Mr. Olbermann, is where my outrage has gone.

protest the war. I too have marched, screamed, cried, signed a million petitions, and have had my house egged for flying a Peace Flag.

I know it took a lot to end the VietNam war. After watching "Sir, No Sir", I think patriots like Lt. Watada and other anti war veterans and military people will need more air time on the MSN.

I am so ashamed of this war, it sickens me!

10. Yes
that's what it comes down to. Shame.

This country has lost its soul.

Oh, I still love the land, and lots of the people are really good people. But the country - well, it's pretty much jumped the shark.

The Constitution - a document that had stood the test of time pretty well, had provided for peaceful succession after assassinations, had provided for updating via amendment in an ongoing effort to "form a more perfect union" is in tatters. We live in an oligarchy, which has installed truly evil people at the helm. It's like in Star Wars, with the Dark Side of the Force ruling.

The Death Star must be destroyed.

11. The other night hubby was saying that when he watches
or reads about those running the US today, somewhere in the back of his mind he expects some of the good guys in the movies of his youth to destroy them. I'd never thought of it that way, but it sure is true that all of the men who looked like the evil men in the movies are now in charge.
